I just finished reading the most recent issue of the newspaper published by the FREEDOM FROM RELIGION FOUNDATION (ffrf.org) and was impressed by one of their ad ideas:

They offer a full page of ads that you can cut out and submit to your local paper or "shopper" magazine.

If you want to support the group, in addition to or rather than sending them money as a donation, you can see your dollars in action by placing an ad on their behalf.
